While running my course at Indian Valley, I took pictures of all the controls and interesting views I saw along the way. The following is the best nine of the 29 shots I took. Pictures can be viewed in random or chronological order.
There are several people in the picture I don't know. If you recognize someone (or yourself), please send me a note at the address below. I'd like to complete the annotations with course and finish results for the runners pictured. Complete results can be found on the BAOC web page.
It took me 10 minutes to download all the pictures over the 28.8 modem I have at home. Each full-size image (jpeg) is 50 to 100K.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, but think this is interesting, go to the San Francisco Bay Area Orienteering Club. This particular event took place at the Indian Valley campus of the College of Marin, near Novato, CA.
Thumbnails - Labeled and annotated.
All Pictures - All nine pictures, full-size, on one page, no annotations.
Armchair orienteers can try to figure out which controls are pictured, which were left out, what course I was running, and where I took the pictures from. These full-size pictures are each labeled with a number. Look at the thumbnails to see how you did. I didn't design this as an O' puzzle, so it could be impossible. Definately impossible without the map.
